My experience : Second round of nexplanon coming…

So I have had nexplanon for the past three years and I have loved it. I’m a busy college student so not having a pill to take at the same time everyday has been a godsend. However I have noticed with this type of bc that I’m ALWAYS hungry, I have gained about 15 pounds and I’m starting to develop bacne. These are all things that I have been trying to change in the last 6 months, so I’ve become more active along with eating better and trying to treat this weird acne on my back and shoulders. I have lost about 5 lbs this past summer and I hope that I can continue with this change. I am about to get my second round of nexplanon in a couple weeks and im nervous because I’ve heard that the second round is the worst for weight gain… I loved this bc method for its simplicity but I am scared that I will no longer have control of its effects on my body if I get it again. But I hated being in the pill… any advice from someone who has had nexplanon more than one time ????? TLDR: I have had a positive experience on the implant besides a couple side things I have noticed, but I am scared that the second round of the implant may destroy my body with its side effects (ex: weight gain, acne)
