Ok so I started yaz and 2 other antibiotics on the same day (Metronidazole and Cefadroxil Monohydrate). So I started 3 new tables the same day. Now I started yaz for the first time in my life and I had to start it on "that day" because it was the first day of my periods and my gynecologist asked me to start it that way. Now the antibiotics I started the same day were due to my wisdom tooth removal surgery. It was already scheduled and I had to start taking them right after the procedure and then take them with a 12h gap for 3-5 days. I did just that. It's the 3rd or maybe 4th day after leaving the antibiotics but I am still taking yaz every day. Now ever since the day I started taking these 3 tablets, I have lost my taste. Nothing tastes the same anymore not even my favourite foods. I don't like the taste of anything. It's not like a bad or disgusting taste. It's just not the same and nothing's tasty anymore. I am really worried and want my taste back asap. Now you guys don't think that it's because of yaz, right? I really really hope that it's not. what I am hoping is that it's because of one of those 2 antibiotics and since it has just been 3 days after leaving them, maybe they are still not out of my system and I'll get my exact taste back after some days? Coz if it's yaz, I'd really leave it right away as I am already dealing with this shitty nausea and if it's the taste too then it's not really worth it for acne. Yes I am taking it for acne.
