I was on Yasmin for about 4 years and I didn’t have any issues but I decided to try the nuvaring instead and it was the WORST decision of my life. I had it in for about a week and by day 2 I started having sleeping issues and it progressively got worse. My anxiety was so bad I couldn’t function at all and I was having constant panic attacks. I finally took it out and the panic attacks to that degree stopped but I am still a mess after the fact AND the Yasmin has a negative affect on me now. When I take the Yasmin I get heart palpitations now which never happened before. Without taking the Yasmin I also have horrid tension headaches, which make me anxious. I Dont understand what the hell happened but the nuvaring did something to me. Does anyone know if it’s possible to have a birth control mess up your hormones so bad that you can’t get them back to normal or has anyone experienced something similar?
