My experience : can i take birth control like normal?
for context, i’ve had unprotected sex on 8/29, 9/5, and 9/12. on 9/12 i took a plan b bc i felt like he didn’t pull out in time. this was about 4 days before my period was supposed to come according to my period tracker.
now, my period is about 3 days late and i’ve taken several pregnancy tests all of which came out negative. i’m pretty sure that my period is late because of this plan b. especially since i’m feeling pms symptoms. i finally was able to get ahold of some birth control (junel), and my doctor told me to take it on the first day of my next period.
however, can i do that even now that my period is out of whack? my period is usually REALLY regular, my cycle ends on day 27/28. or should i wait until my period is back to normal and regular to start taking birth control pills or does it even matter? when should i take these damn pills ðŸ˜
thanks in advance :)
