My experience : Help!!! Panic Attack (or something) on Mini Pill??
I really really hope someone can help. I have been on the mini pill since June. When I first started there was a personal incident that set me off and I had (what I think was) a panic or some other scary attack: I had trouble regulating my breathing, I was remembering things that didn't happen, and kept forgetting things that just happened. It lasted about an hour and I felt off the rest of the afternoon.
I realized this week I had forgotten a pill at some point, and at the advice of someone else I took it this afternoon. After about half an hour that horrible feeling came back. Less panicked, but more confused, and having trouble discerning if thoughts were memories or dreams. It lasted a few hours and I was able to finish up at work without anyone noticing. But I still feel off and unsettling.
Now I don't know what to do. I had a consultation with a doctor on the phone and she was immensely unhelpful and told me it's probably not related.
Please please help. I am scared, I don't know what is causing this and what to do from here.
