My experience : New to Nexplanon - calming advice/experience needed
I’m generally an anxious person that overthinks things. I got Nexplanon almost 3 weeks ago and have been worried about it breaking or bending (though I know it should still work), that it’s too close to partially healed insertion site and will start to expel itself (though I asked the doc when I got it if it could come out itself and she basically said No - though I know with infections sometimes it ends up coming through a bit and just generally overthinking it I think.
In reality I know if these things actually happened often it would not have the efficiency rate it does but wondering if anyone else had silly worries for the first while of having it and can provide some reassurance
