What is "Obstetrics " ?
Obstetrics is the field of study concentrated on pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period. As a medical specialty, obstetrics is combined with gynecology under the discipline known as obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN), which is a surgical field.
My experience over Obstetrics "Pain and endometrial biopsy"
So, according to mayo clinic, the biopsy is just "uncomfortable" and not painful.
According to most of the first-person accounts I've read, it is horribly painful and the pain lasts for a while.
I don't want to be dismissed by my doctor about pain management for the biopsy. But I'm not sure what words I need to say to convince them to create a pain-managed situation.
Any help?
