My experience : Does libido ever come back once it goes when on birth control?
My girlfriend has been on birth control for a few months now and this is the only one that has bearable side effects for her, the one and only thing that does bother me and that I don’t know the answer to is the question of her libido.
Since the birth control pills kicked in she hasn’t had any want for anything sexual at all, absolutely nothing and I, as someone who hasn’t got much experience with all of this stuff would like to know that since the libido is gone and for the forceable future it likely won’t be back (at least this is how she puts it) will the want for sex and the libido come back ever? I would like to think I am supportive of her and understanding but this does raise questions for myself and being in a romantic relationship with someone and not having any sex or any sign of it happening in the future, I am in the deep end and I’m simply looking for some advice and answers.
Will the libido come back? Will it ever be consistent or since it isn’t back now if it does come back will it only come in short bursts very rarely? Should I expect it to come back? Is there anything I can do or say if I start to get frustrated about having 0 sexual activities?
Thank you in advance.
