What is "Obstetrics " ?
Obstetrics is the field of study concentrated on pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period. As a medical specialty, obstetrics is combined with gynecology under the discipline known as obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN), which is a surgical field.
My experience over Obstetrics "Yaz causing gallbladder problems?"
I have had gallbladder flares during both pregnancies but I switched to low fat diet and they resolved about 2 months later. Then I was able to go back to eating fat with no problem.
I am 2 days into yaz and I have been having what feels like gallbladder pain again. Can yaz be the issue? I usually eat fairly low fat so I wouldn’t think it’s my diet. I started yaz on my first day of my period.
