My experience : Has anyone switched from Liletta to Mirena?
I got a Liletta IUD last November and it's been terrible ever since. Cystic acne, mood swings, depression, non-existent libido, 5-8 cm cysts on both ovaries every month, constant bleeding for 8 months, constant yeast infections and BV that trade off, pelvic pain, inflammation, worsening migraines... it's been hell. But my doctors kept telling me to wait a year. It's officially been a year and I still want it out. It's been effective birth control mainly because I never want to have sex again due to the bleeding, lack of drive, infections or pain. I keep hearing that Mirena is amazing and most people have wonderful experiences, yet the reviews are not great for Liletta even though they are supposed to be the same. Has anyone switched from Liletta to Mirena or a different IUD? How was your experience?
