My experience : How do I know my IUD is working?

So I've had an IUD since August and only have one sexual partner, so after getting ourselves tested my boyfriend and I decided to stop using condoms last week. It really has been an improvement on our sex life, but I'm quite anxious that I'll be in the 1% that does get pregnant whilst on an IUD. I know I probably shouldn't worry, but does anyone have any tips on how to feel less anxious? Is there a way to check whether my IUD is working?
