My experience : IUD Moved?
I got a Kyleena IUD in September 2021, and my experience had been great. Little pain on entry with a little cramping/spotting, but other than that I’ve had zero issues. I don’t get a period with the IUD either, occasionally I’ll get spotting once in awhile but usually that goes away in a few days with little to no cramping. I also rarely got bad cramps with my period prior to birth control. Two days ago I got the weirdest cramping sensation that lasted for about 2-3 hours. It felt like moderate to severe cramps both in my uterine region as well as near my rectum (felt like had to poop/precursor to diarrhea) so I went to the bathroom, but didn’t have to poop. I thought I might be constipated but I pooped fine later after this subsided.
It was kind of a wave-like cramping, and would get worse and better on and off, but no specific position helped it or made it better/worse. I called my gyno and I’m gonna go in tomorrow hopefully, but has anyone else experienced this? It’s making me nervous thinking my IUD could’ve moved…
