My experience : Should I Stop Taking The Pill before I get the Copper IUD?
hello all!
In about a month i’m scheduled to get the copper IUD. I am going off of hormonal birth control because of how it has been effecting my moods. It just so happens that I have to start a new pack today. Should I take the pills still? or should I stop? I was told by my doctors office to not have sex for 3-4 weeks before the insertion to reduce the risk of pregnancy. Do you guys think it’s worth it to start a new pack or to just stop taking the pills?
