My experience : digital clear blue - false positive

The title pretty much says it all, but I had one false positive digital test using clear blue. I have Nexplanon and take a monthly pregnancy test because I’m neurotic about getting pregnant lol. I take the digital clear blue and lo and behold… positive. I nearly died from sheer panic and shock 💀 I freaked out and then immediately went to the store and bought 10+ pregnancy tests (including more digital clear blues) and made a doctor’s appointment for blood work. Everything came back negative, and then I waited a 1.5 weeks to take more tests just to be sure it wasn’t too early (I also just started a very very heavy period this week). So, not pregnant. I’d also like to say that part of the false positive was likely user error because I left the test in the cup of urine for a minute rather than just 5 seconds. Just wanted to put this out there as a data point for any of y’all! Because I’ve seen similar stories to mine about clear blue before.
