What is "Obstetrics " ?
Obstetrics is the field of study concentrated on pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period. As a medical specialty, obstetrics is combined with gynecology under the discipline known as obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN), which is a surgical field.
My experience over Obstetrics "Ultrasounds Showed 5cm Growing Fibroid but Myomectomy Didn't Find Anything"
I have a follow up with my gyno next week but he wasn't able to talk to me after my surgery and I'm so confused and impatient.
I have had 3 separate ultrasounds since January that all showed a huge fibroid that has grown with each ultrasound. It even caused heavy bleeding that put me in the hospital at the beginning of this year. The thing is, I just got out of a Myomectomy surgery but the nurse said nothing was removed because nothing was there...
Where is this pain coming from then? The bleeding, ultrasound results from 3 separate facilities. I'm just hella confused.
Has anyone experienced this before?
