My experience : Nexplanon insertion bandages got wet, advice?
I probably sound overly paranoid but I’m a nervous gal when it comes to infections. Got my Nexplanon about 4 hours ago and was told to keep the pressure bandage on for 24 hours.
Well I got it a little damp from my hair being wet and I’m just worried about what to do. Would it be okay to just leave it? I patted it dry with a towel and it seems fine now. Otherwise would taking it off and putting a large bandage be safe? My doctor isn’t available atm so I just thought I’d ask here if anyone has any experience.
