My experience : Getting off of depo. Advice? Anything else I should know
Hi! Everyone I’m 19NB I’ve only got one shot of the depo just to see how it will work on my body. I am in a sexually actively relationship with my boyfriend. But he’s always used condoms. But I tried it just to see how it works. It was okay I did like the no period aspect but it gave me extremely tender breast (which I do have very dense breast tissue and ive also have has breast tumors in my younger teens which worried me) and I did feel kinda depressed on it. So I got off it. When I got off of it wasn’t so bad. I did experienced a long periods but felt normal like nothing heavy and got very less and less. Then stopped then started back up like dark spotting for 3 days. Last month. This month it was the same but it seemed a bit more longer than usual and it stopped than came back again today but was a bit more red than brown and spotting like. Any other similar experiences on getting off and what should I know? How long it’ll take for everything to go back to normal etc. thank you!
