My experience : hormonal iud questions

i (f20s) have recently started having sex again.

i had a horrendous experience with the copper iud, a nearly as terrible experience with the pill, and an okay-ish experience with the ring. i stopped using birth control 6months-1year ago and i've heard many women have positive experiences with the hormonal iud.

the copper one hurt so bad all the time, even after they said it would stop hurting. the pill caused my already anxious self to have constant crippling anxiety. and the ring was fine, more noticeable mood swings, and 5 pounds.

i know everyones experience is different, but is there anyone who has tried multiple methods and how they weigh up against the hormonal iud? i want to be as safe as possible but i don't know if i can be on birth control if there aren't any methods that don't fuck with me so much.

i've considered getting back on the ring but it's very expensive where i live, even the off brand ones. that's why i want to consider a more long term, one time payment thing.
