What is "Obstetrics " ?
Obstetrics is the field of study concentrated on pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period. As a medical specialty, obstetrics is combined with gynecology under the discipline known as obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN), which is a surgical field.
My experience over Obstetrics "Internal check and PAP smear at 18?"
Is it normal for an 18yo female with no abnormal concerns to get an internal examination and Pap smear at 18? I’ve spoken with numerous people that it should’ve been 21 or even 25.
