What is "Obstetrics " ?
Obstetrics is the field of study concentrated on pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period. As a medical specialty, obstetrics is combined with gynecology under the discipline known as obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN), which is a surgical field.
My experience over Obstetrics "Possible Pregnancy?"
Hello all, My boyfriend and I had sex about two weeks ago and I’ve recently gotten off of birth control, so we used a condom. The condom happened to break right as he came, and I took Plan B the next morning. I’m now 4 days late for my period but had really light spotting for about 2 days. The tests that I took came back negative, but should I wait and see if my period comes or wait another week to test? •I’m just looking for advice and side note, I only stopped birth control due to no longer having insurance coverage for Nuvaring.
